Tauk Wellness does not accept commercial insurance plans

Tauk Wellness operates as a private pay, out-of-network provider. This means we are not contracted with commercial insurance companies, and payment is due at the time of each session. For clients who have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a detailed statement (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary depending on your plan and deductible, so it’s a good idea to contact your insurance provider directly to confirm your mental health benefits before starting services.

Out-Of-Network Benefits

How to Check Your Out-of-Network Benefits
When you call your insurance provider, you can ask:

  1. Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits for outpatient therapy?

  2. What percentage of the session cost will be reimbursed?

  3. Is there a deductible I must meet before coverage begins?

  4. Are there limits on the number of sessions covered each year?

  5. What is the process for submitting a superbill for reimbursement?

What is a Superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt for therapy services that includes all the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. It lists things like the date of your session, the type of service provided, the fee, and a diagnosis code (if required by your insurance).

If you have out-of-network benefits, you can submit a superbill to your insurance provider to request reimbursement for a portion of your session cost. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and will depend on your individual plan, deductible, and coverage.Your superbill will be emailed to you on a monthly basis.

Questions About Cost?
